Nearly Ten years ago on December 26th 2009, Denise and I mistook ourselves for entrepreneurs and embarked on the most difficult and ultimately rewarding journey of our life - to start a business selling Welsh Cakes. Today we are the largest maker in America of these still relatively unknown cakes. With numerous 5 star reviews on Amazon, Yelp and Facebook, we have a constantly growing following of online and festival customers that total over 40,000. We make thousands of cakes every week, we ship out dozens and sometimes hundreds of orders each day, and people wait in line for sometimes up to 30 minutes to buy in person from us at the fairs and festivals we do. We never envisioned what this business has become and what it means to our customers who write us daily to tell us how special our cakes are to them and their families. Who would have guessed?
